Gerard Baquillon          Photographer Jonathan Sasca

Jonathan Sasca is a French photography and creative writing studio located in Draguignan, France. The Studio is known globally for its captivating photos taken from around the world, capturing both natural landscapes and portraits depicting unusual ideas. Photos range from the Port of Monaco through the bottom of a glass, to the Hobo Series, in such places from Kathmandu to Shanghai to New York City; and ideas ranging from gardens to primitive churches to buddah's are all captured with great imagination and clarity. The Studio also publishes many writings to accompany the photos. Mr. Gerard Baquillon is the Founder and Owner of Jonathan Sasca as well as the Studio's primary Photographer and Writer. A self proclaimed "hobo," Mr. Baquillon is never happier than when he is deep into the adventure of capturing the heart of some new and exotic location through his camera and written word. In addition to posting on website and photographing specific jobs for clients, Mr. Baquillon also performs freelance work. Prior to launching out with his own studio, he worked for an advertising agency, where he gained a great deal of experience and expertise with both photography and writing. Earlier in his career, Mr. Baquillon worked at a French radio station, where he was exposed to a broad range of classical music. The station was the first free radio, originally beginning in Italy, but also heard in France. Among his many goals, he is focused on getting back into advertising, as well as completing his book, which he is still in the midst of writings. Mr. Baquillon hopes to send it to a publisher by February or March of 2012.
